RIO PARALYMPICS 2016 - DEEPA MALIK CREATES HISTORY BY WON SILVER MEDAL FOR INDIA

India's DEEPA MALIK creates history by won silver medal for india in Rio 2016 Paralympics.

She won silver in the finals of shot put event with a throw of 4.61M. 

Deepa malik becomes the first indian women to win the medal in paralympics.

Fatema Nedham of Bahrain won the gold medal with the throw of 4.76M  in this event and Greece's Dimitra Korokida won the bronze with the throw of 4.28M.

Deepa malik  also won medals in international swimming competitions. she is the record holder in asian javelin throw event.

Now india is in 36th place of paralympics 2016 medal table with one gold,one silver and one bronze.

India's mariyappan thangavelu already won gold and varun singh won bronze in the men's high jump event.

THE FIRST T20 MATCH BETWEEN AUSTRALIA AND SRILANKA PLAYED IN PALLEKELE,SRILANKA.

Srilankan captain won the toss and he choses to bowl first.

The opening batsman of australia Glenn Maxwell smashes the bowlings of srilanka. He scored 145 runs in just 65 balls with fourteen fours and nine sixes . Sri lankan bowlers failed to control maxwell. he is not out at the end of australian innings.

Another opening batsman david warner scored 28 runs in 16 balls. After warner's wickets fell usman khawaja came into crease. he scored 36 runs in 22 balls. After him Travis Head joined with Maxwell. Travis scored 45 runs in just 18 balls.

At the end of innings australia scored 263/3 which is a T20 international record score.By this australia smashed the record of highest score in T20 international previously set by srilanka against kenya which is 260/6.

Sri lanka failed to chase the targetted score. srilankan's only scored 178/9 at the end of twenty overs.

Australia won the match by 85 runs and leads the series 1-0.

MOTHER TERESA, a catholic nun who served her lifetime to helping for india's poor declared as saint in vatican by Pope Francis.

Mother teresa spend her whole life to people who suffer and helpless. 

Mother teresa died 5th september of 1997 in her age of 87 in Kolkatta.
